At Gillian’s Foods, we aim to have efficient pickup and receiving appointments to help us, our customers, and our vendors moving along in their day with as little disruption as possible. Below is some information to help our customers, third party carriers, and suppliers.
Hours of dock operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; no orders will be processed between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. due to lunch breaks.
Preparing Ahead of Arrival
Drivers must have order PO #s available for shipper upon arrival for efficient processing.
Trucks should arrive at temperature in order to receive product. Trucks arriving above required temperature will have to wait until temperature is reached.
We have 4 shared docks available. The driver can enter 90 Leavitt Street, Salem, MA for the destination in order to reach the correct side of our building with the docks. Trucks must enter Leavitt Street from Congress Street, not Lafayette where GPSs try to direct the drivers. Drivers must skip the turn onto Lafayette, continue straight on Derby Street then take the next right onto Congress Street. Go to the end of Congress Street, turn left on Leavitt where it is a truck route (off Lafayette is not a truck route).
Once on Leavitt, continue straight and go through the archway where you will see many docks at our building. Head to the left and find the door and stairs with the CrossFit Ironspider sign. The driver can use any of the 4 docks to the left of that door that are available.
Once driver has backed in, they can enter through the Ironspider door to reach the dock. Gillian’s Foods is located down the long hallway (large banner with our logo above the door). Driver should go to the door and ring the bell to reach the shipper.

Gillian’s Foods requires at least 1 business day’s notice to schedule and confirm a pickup appointment. Appointments can be made further out to get a preferred time slot, 3 business days’ notice is recommended. Scheduling can be done by phone (781-586-0086) or email (email@example.com) and will be confirmed via email.
